Buffalo Niagara Dental Meeting 2010
The entire staff at Lancaster Dental Associates continued our ongoing process of learning about new techniques and materials in dentistry by attending the Buffalo Niagara Dental Meeting on November 4th and 5th. This convention, held at the Buffalo Convention Center, nicely complements the trip we took to Orlando in October to participate in the American Dental Association annual meeting.
Many topics were covered in lectures, including the latest research in health screenings, fillings, dental implants, endodontics, prosthetics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and studies in the interpersonal relationships between staff and patients.
Dr. Kevin Flanigan attended a special “hands-on” clinic with the leading dental implant company in the country, while Dr. Richard Medico and Dr. Kevin Hrab heard lectures on studies of links between dental and overall health, along with the latest updates on treatments for periodontal disease. Staff members came away with lots of new and exciting information that could benefit our patients at Lancaster Dental Associates.
