Continuing Education and the enhancement of our staff dental skills continues to be a very important part of our office development. June was a very busy month when it came to advancing our dental education!
On Tuesday June 7th Dr. Marchetta and Dr. Hrab completed the final seminar sponsored this winter and spring by the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery office of Dr. Michael Garvey. Dr. Garvey’s Teamwork Study Club, in conjunction with Straumann, presented the four-part series which focused on specific topics in the specialized area of dental implants, geared for doctors and their staff.
In addition, Dr. Garvey’s Teamwork Study Club sponsored a three-part series of seminars designed for office managers and practice administrators. It was held throughout the spring and attended by our office manager, Janet. The goal of the Study Club is to provide dental professionals the opportunity to find positive ways to meet every day management challenges. Their third meeting was held on Friday June 10th with great enthusiasm and endless information regarding many important Human Resource issues that face dental offices every day.
