Lancaster Dental Associates Welcomes Kim!
Lancaster Dental Associates would like to introduce you to the newest member of our dental team, Kim Marlinski. LDA has partnered with Erie Community College to provide the additional training that Kim requires to become a NYS Certified Dental Assistant. LDA is happy to say that our licensed professionals, along with our staff and facility have been accepted for the third year in a row to aide the school in furthering student education. Kim will work side by side with our doctors and dental assistants over the next four months learning “first hand” the clinical and administrative aspects of her new career. She’ll be learning everything about four handed dentistry from assisting the doctor through surgical, restorative and implant procedures to assisting with our CEREC 3-D imaging system for crown and onlay fabrication. Digital x-rays, laboratory work and precise sterilization procedures are on her agenda too! We’re so happy to provide this great opportunity for Kim to learn the latest in technical advances in today’s dental field. From now through May, Kim will accumulate a minimum of 200 hours hands-on experience with our doctors and assistants. At the end of this semester she will be eligible to take her New York State boards to become a Certified Dental Assistant. Our entire staff is looking forward to working with Kim over the next few months. If you see her working with your doctor on any Monday or Tuesday, be sure to say “Hi” and wish her a warm welcome.
